SIGNS OF THE ENDTIME

Bibe Reading: Mat 24,Luke 21

From the time of old, alot of signs have been seen ever sincprophecies of the end time were told. Knowledge has so much increased and many wars and conflicts, disobedience of children to parents, hard times, earthquakes and tsunamis etc. are common in these last days. Almost all prophecies of the last days are being fufilled and thus we are in the latter part of the last days.
In Mathew 24 which is synoptic to Luke 21, there are a lot of events displayed at differnt sections.Jesus commented about the temple that was built by the Jews when they returned from captivity in Babylon and spoke of its destruction(Mat 24:1-2). Jesus answers three questions posed by His disciples. These questions are: When shall these signs be? What shall be the of your coming and the end of the world? these answers were interspersed in the whole chapter. He spoke of the hard times;wars, earthquakes, pestilences, famines etc. that shall come uupon the world, deception by false Christ and prophets and persecution and the love of many saints waxing cold.
In these moments of distress the end  is not yet but only signs that indicate that it is  near.
The prophecy concerning Jerusalem and the temple was then foretold: "when you see the abomination that causes desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the Holy place..."This part was fufilled in A.D 70 when the Roman armies invaded Jerusalem and slaughtered pigs in the Holy place which is the abomination that causes desolation. At this time, those in the field are not supposed to return to home and woe to pregnant and nursing mothers since there shall be great  distress on the land. Many fell by the edge of the sword and others were taken captive to foreign lands.
This was what Jesus spoke to the women who wept for Him on His way to cruxifixion. He told them to weep for themselves and their children(Luke 23:28-31). Lesus told them that when His Gospel is preached in the entire world, then shall the end come.

Memory Verse:Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall Direct your paths.
Amen
