Bible reading: Proverbs 3 :5-6, 14:12
There are missions and there is a mission. The outcome of a vision is a mission. As Christians, in order to accomplish the greatest mission, a greater vision of the Holy Ghost is a requirement.
we all have missions to accomplish; it may be for our schools, organizations,family etc.We even have our personal missions to accomplish as christian s and become so desperate of that, but no matter how great or small our mission is, Jesus Christ the son of the living God, has called us Christians to the greatest commission without which we cannot and never say we are through before the throne of grace. An accomplishment of the mission of our organization,school,family etc may leave our name in the record books but cannot save us from God's judgement.
There is the greatest call of soul winning for the Lord which, after fulfilling whole heartedly,will leave us engraved in the palms of the Almighty God. It will make God smile at us. We must not carry visions that would only bring forth evil missions. the devil has also assigned his agents to accomplish the most destructive mission of persuading people to submit to the lust of the flesh,lust of the eyes and the pride of life. What vision do you carry? Is it inspired by the word of God or the thoughts and voice of Satan? The mission you intend accomplishing may seem right in your own eyes but the end of it may be death. Therefore, it calls for one to pray the prayer of enquiry.
MAY GOD HELP US TO IDENTIFY AND ACCOMPLISH THIS GREAT COMMISSION.
